Despite turboTax had the information from my previous year taxes, It missed to advice me that I had entered a wrong birth date.
I noticed the wrong data, when getting the PIN, during the filing process.

I have used turbo tax for several years and in general I think they continue to improve the ease of use. However, some of the features that used to be part of the Deluxe package are now only available through more expensive packages.
What's great about it: ability to quickly do my return at home
What's not so great: doesn't provide all the features previously on Deluxe package
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I like it, but...

I'd used Turbo tax for years, then one year after having a glitch I tried Tax-cut. Next year I was back with Turbo-tax. My only frustration is that it should remember (import from previous filings) all of the previous year's sources of incomes and Charities, including addresses, id nos. etc.
What's great about it: Easy to navigate, seems to looks for the right stuff
What's not so great: Doesn't remember stuff like income sources and charities from last year

I've done my own taxes for years since the accountant managed to get me audited twice. TurboTax is an excellent product and so easy to use.
What's great about it: Easy to follow, asks all of the necessary questions, if you have a problem it can answer, it can be trusted.
What's not so great: ???

We used an accountant for a few years. Then I discovered TurboTax. Easy to follow, effective and complete. Never a problem.
Going to keep using as long as I have to file taxes. And we all know what that means....

turbo tax--likes and dislikes

GETTING ANSWERS--MANY OF MINE CAME UP SEARCHING -- ONE FOR 20 MINUTES +.
IT WOULD HELP TO HAVE A SUMMARIZED INTRO WITH SOME COMMON ANSWERS.
What's great about it: not having to do all the worksheets is a big pro!!!
What's not so great: I was disturbed greatly when there was no PRINT CENTER. AT LEAST WE SHOULD HAVE A PREVIEW IN THAT SEEING THE REAL RETUR

I have been going to my CPA for the last 18 years. I wish I would have given Turbo Tax a chance because it would have saved me lots of money. I went over my last year taxes page by page and it was the exact same forms fill out the same way. She probably uses Turbo Tax.
From now on I will be using Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: Sooooo easy to use. Even prepared quarterly payment vouchers.
What's not so great: You have to pay a fee to file state.

Program is great, but this year it was a big nuisance every time that I opened it to work on it. It would always start with the original screen 'Hi, Welcome to TurboTax'. Begin. Then I had to find the one that I had been working on. Still wound up with 4 or 5 iterations of it. Still, considering the complexity of the whole thing with taxes, I find it to be the easiest to use. Specially after talking with friends that use a different program or have someone do it for them $$.
What's great about it: Easy and straight forward, covering everything.
What's not so great: All the items that don't apply to me. Wish they didn't have to come up.
