2015 easy as pie turbo tax

The 1099 R was a little tricky as my 1099 R didn't have a code in block 7 and your program didn't say anything about a space with nothing in it--- no code just blank---Finally figured it out after a few visits to the internet... no code means code 7!!!!
What's great about it: just easy to answer
What's not so great: wish state tax was free after paying a lot for the program

Taxes are DONE!

As usual, this year was like any previous. I was dreading doing taxes but my calendar flipped to April and I needed to do taxes. April 1st was on Friday and I downloaded my awaiting TurboTax 2015 and opened it up loading all the needed information from last year's forms into this year's. Saved it and spent an hour working on taxes for 1 to 2 hours that first weekend. I spent another 4 hours today, a week later, and my taxes are filed! I've been using Turbo Tax since 2010 and have had absolutely no regrets going with this software.
What's great about it: quick AND easy
What's not so great: Don't really have any...
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

2015 Turbo Tax

Been doing Turbo tax for many many years. It is easier every year. This is helpful since I'm an aging senior. I highly recommend Turbo Tax to everyone willing or trying to make the decision to do their own taxes.

It gets easier each year

I've been using Turbo Tax for 15 or more years. They have treated me great while on active duty in the Marines and even provided phone and on line support while deployed in other countries. I've been retired 8 years and I stick with Turbo Tax. I plan to be loyal in the future.
What's great about it: This year was the eaisest ever.

What's not so great: If I am looking at FORMS and then EXIT TT without going back to Step-by-Step, you do not ask if I want to save my file

Need to publish what's new up front both from feds, states, AND TurboTax

The user experience for single filing is simple and thorough. The screens are easy to understand and quick to use.
What's great about it: Very user friendly
What's not so great: e-filing state return somewhat confusing
