Quick and Easy

Was an easy and quick experience. Very helpful in all areas of tax fliling both Federal and State.
What's great about it: walked me through the entire tax filing
What's not so great: I liked it all
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Used Turbo Tax for several years and have always been satisfied with results. Since I'm now 70, I appreciate the ease of use and knowing that calculations are done correctly.
What's great about it: Ability to skip around when desired. Guided questions are good to be sure nothing is missed.
What's not so great: None that are important to mention.

Turbo Tax is a wonderful tool to automate a tax return while "protecting" you from errors such as taking too few deductions, losing track of credits, or omitting prior payments. It also gives assurance you are paying fairly and will not be the target of a fair IRS audit.
What's great about it: Automated input to guide tasks; explanatory materials as hotspots;
What's not so great: Navigation awkward: hard when returning to Turbo Tax to resume where you left off; hard to find a specific area

Pretty Good - I've Used it for 20 Years

Most everything worked as expected, but when we entered home office expense which we didn't take, because it came out less than the threshold amount and didn't generate a Federal deduction, it increased our State tax liability due to a depreciation calculation that didn't generate any savings. I had to go back and delete everything to remove the entire entry, rather than just having it generate a nil deduction.
What's great about it: Easy to use, straightforward
What's not so great: Doesn't show all calculations on worksheets

Supportive and helpful experience

Turbo Tax is very good at asking the right questions to get your taxes done accurately. I believe that I am able to get the best tax rate and a possible refund by using Turbo Tax. I have been using Turbo Tax for more than ten years.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax transfers the prior year's information. Asks for all of the items that I need to get my taxes done smoothly.

Do it Right!

It seems like taxes get more complicated every year—calculate this, deduct that, and don't forget about this, that and the other thing. TurboTax cuts through the haze. Step by step from beginning to end, you fill in the blanks and let the software figure out the rest. I'm not looking for loopholes, I just want it done right, and for at least a decade now, TurboTax has done it right for me. I heartily endorse this product.

I forgot my ITUIT password. Even with the codes that you sent me, it was impossible to create a new password. Therfore I could not file electronicaly. There is some glitz in your process. There was no indication that any password that I provided was accepted. I gave up and filed by mail.
