What's great about it: Ease of use; user friendly; all areas of tax forms covered
What's not so great: LOL wish I had had Turbo Tax in 1974 when I was a tax accountant, doing it the old way---paper forms!

Double Charge

Not happy that I purchased a state and then had to pay again to e-file that state. Cost me more for 1 state than for Federal and 1 state that included e-file.

Extremely quick but thorough wth simple to use question and answer format to complete tax returns both federal and state in a very short time.
Comprehensive error review of final returns and simple to make corrections or change or add to each section
Great to get an analysis of risk and option for audit coverage
I have used this for years including complex returns involving a spouse's business, my professional business, rentals in the past including depreciation, buying and selling property, and this past year taking a small amount from my IRA for a down payment on a 2nd home purchase
Takes the pain out of tax time- what a breeze to use !!!
What's great about it: Ease of use with step by step filling out of the forms; simple questions to complete all sections, risk rating
What's not so great: Hurts tax preparers business !

Turbo Tax is a simple way to do your taxes as long as you have kept records. It's Deductible is almost a necessity if you have charitable contributions.
What's great about it: The program walks you through everything and will answer questions when asked.
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
