It was very intuitive. I found all of the questions well explained.
What's great about it: I didn't have to spend two hours at a tax prep. office

I didn't remember where business expense details were entered, and the "Show Source" function didn't take me back there. I had to explore to find it, and that should not be necessary.
What's great about it: Thorough
What's not so great: Inability to get back to source entry material easily.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

last year's info did not transfer

I have used TT for years and for some reason my last year info did not transfer to this year's return. Not a problem except that at the end, it showed I had zero tax in the previous year which impacts my underpayment penalty
What's great about it: easy to understand
What's not so great: did not transfer the info from my last year turbotax return

Hardest year ever

I have used TT for many years and this year several problems occurred. I did not like the format, it was better to be able to click from the form to the instructions directly. It never asked for my direct deposit info and I had to go back and correct the self employment health insurance deduction....

good, reliable, but too long a memory

I've used TurboTax for a few years now, and my circumstances have changed a few times - unfortunately, it's a challenge to get rid of old stuff, like an old foreign bank account form for an account I'd closed years before - and old business forms. It should be made easier to move on to new things.
What's great about it: well-organized - good questions
What's not so great: hard to get rid of old stuff
