I have been doing my tax's with turbo-tax for the last 8 years and have had no trouble at all. How ever this year every thing went off with out a hitch until I tried to Efile my state tax. ( OK ) I was unable to do so. I am filling my state tax by mail. Oh well I saved 30 bucks.

I would recommend Turbo Tax to anyone who does their own income taxes. This program gives you step by step instructions and if you are entitled to a refund they will find it for you. Less expenses than a tax preparer and you can add or delete, go get documents you need and had forgotten.
What's great about it: Love guide me
What's not so great: I liked everything

I had the spinning calculation bug, which was fixed with an update. Couldn't pay with credit card to e-file state (blank popup window), which was fixed by resetting the wireless using network preferences, assist me and then diagnostics. Got the SSL error while e-filing federal and state. Was finally able to go through after trying ten times.
Last year was a lot smoother...
What's great about it: Importing last year's tax return and new W2 is easy
What's not so great: Using a Mac I ran into all the issues others have already reported

Easy as pie

Man, this was easy to do. I think it took me longer to download the software than to fill out my return. It was so easy it left me with that queezy feeling when something is too good to be true, or when you do something you know is wrong like setting up a friend with a known alcoholic.
