Made it through easily

TT staff was very helpful getting state return for us.
What's great about it: ability to use last year's info to start this year
What's not so great: state refund not available OTC in Florida - needed it to file Michigan

It's quick, it's easy to read, if you don't understand something they have an explanation that helps most of the time. I've used Turbo Tax for over ten years and I'll continue to do so.

I did not pick up on the option to review my form before filing. Program said review would be next; didn't see it so I thought it would show up before the return was actually filed. It didn't, so return was filed before I reviewed it. Turned out that when I did see the review (before printing, but AFTER filing) there was something I wanted to change. Too late. Don't know if it would have changed tax amount or not. I had a question in mind on this item while I was entering information but could not find a way to get back to the worksheet that pertained to income from overseas account through my brokerage firm. It might be that I just overlooked something but I think it would be wise for you to review the program as it pertains to this item. Thank you. Turbo Tax has generally improved year to year but some of the changes take a little time to get used to for some of us dummies.

Welllll ok

Had a few questions this year that I could not find answers to regarding my tax form. Trusting that TurboTax does it right!
What's great about it: Quick and and can easily skip areas not applicable
What's not so great: Not able to see details of non-taxable income. Can not tell if 457B GG and EE were combined as nontaxable

Very Good Product that Improves Over Time

I have used this product for many years and it continues to meet my needs along with very good customer service..
What's great about it: Easy To Use, Comprehensive and Good Data Transfer from Federal to State
What's not so great: More help and explanation when reviewing errors
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Somewhat Disastrous

I spent a day and a half working on my taxes, and then it was gone due to known (unknown to me when I started) issues with El Capitan. I had to go back to an older version (major hassle to install...had to wipe the hard drive) and reenter everything.
What's great about it: Does the job
What's not so great: I had El Capitan installed on my Mac, and as it turns out, it is not compatiible with TurboTax.
