So easy!

While it is so easy, I need the deluxe due to my mortgage deductions. Most of the other stuff it covers doesn't apply. It seems to get more costly the more complex a person's filing needs are. So I pay for things I don't need. I do love that it walks me through everything and talks in normal people terms! Its user friendly!
What's great about it: It walks you through EVERYTHING!
What's not so great: It's a bit pricey.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Good program. Need to get IRS to stop changing laws so we can use the same program year after year.

I would give the program a 8 or 9 out of 10. Good but not perfect.
What's great about it: The entries are simple and straightforward . The questions were easy to understand.
What's not so great: Matching the email and password were impossible. The program demanded it and yet it was impossible to match.

This is a good software to use. It's easy to use and if you've filed previously then you can transfer your info to current returns. Step by step tutoring is very helpful. It is a whole lot quicker than doing your taxes the old school way and a whole lot less aggravation and stress.
What's great about it: step by step guidance & quick to do

Minor Bugs But Generally Solid Software

Good software but should be more carefully tested for corrections to less common investment-related data entry items.
What's great about it: Easy to Use and Import Financial Documents
What's not so great: Program does not prompt user correctly for input of less common inputs with multiple entries

Generally, I like the product and have confidence in its use. I suggested last year that Turbo-Tax allow me to change the form of my state refund from a check to direct deposit--this year it again did not allow me that option, forcing me to print the state report and file by mail (after editing the method of reimbursement for my refund). It would be nice to see it fixed next year. And it would especially be nice to file my state taxes electronically for no additional charge next year.
What's great about it: Been using for many years and feel comfortable with program
What's not so great: I don't feel Turbo Tax should charge for e-filing with my state.
Pros: I bought or sold investments
