Much more difficult to navigate than last year. I had 1 change, the payment of a pension and I spent 3 days trying to go through the online version of Turbotax. Finally I went and physically purchased the program. It was better. Could not get it to interface with my Charles Schwab account, so I ahd to type in the complicated part of my return. I've spent 4 days going through this. Timewise a tax preparer would have done it in a couple of hours.

Turbo Tax Review

It is a very good tax return software I have been using for years. Only this time after I filled out my K-1 Infor and the final review keep asking me to fill it again, just do not know why?
What's great about it: Ease of use
What's not so great: some error of final review was incorrected

Great Experience

I have been using Turbo Tax for past 10 years and it is always a good experience for me. I had my own home based business for several years and program walked me through each step. I am no longer self-employed, but have had to file 3 state returns in the past and only had to file 2 this year! I purchase the Deluxe with Fed and 1 State, then only have to pay extra for the 2nd state. Free Federal e-file! I send in my 2 states via mail. Thanks TurboTax!
What's great about it: As usual, very quick and competent
What's not so great: Charge for extra state keeps increasing!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

STUMBLED THROUGH

STARTED OUT EASY THEN AS I GOT INTO MORE DETAILED FORMS I RAN INTO PROBLEMS. BUT TURBO TAX WAS REALLY USER FRIENDLY.
What's great about it: SELF EXPLANATORY
What's not so great: DETAILED FORMS HARDER

software glitches?

i've used turbo tax for 6-7 years without many problems, however this year the software, (maybe operator error) but it took three times to finally download Turbotax to computer, would not save progress and had to complete at one sitting, and the program actually skipped a step and had to return to overview to complete. TurboTax is easy to use but the glitches made to process a little less pleasant.
What's great about it: easy to use
What's not so great: need to use personal information on tax form to complete filing/paying for state from/etc
