Challenged Senior

I have used TT for 5 years and as a very senior citizen I am severely challenged with new technologies, but I was able to negotiate with relative ease...and this is an extraordinary accolade!!
What's great about it: For a non techie octogenarian the process was easy

Great tax Program

Great Program!, Tried others, but easiest to use. Could be better, by being able to link Kids tax returns to Parents Return and to other kids returns, to transfer data for Form 8615 automatically, instead of manually like now.
File by Mail instructions, should also repeat telling you, that you need to add proving documents for any state tax credit claims, like Colorado, in addition to during the program step by step filing process.
What's great about it: EZ to enter data
What's not so great: Dependents Tax Return should be able to link to parents Return
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Upon review of Fed return Turbo showed a question that had to have a number inserted, but no clue was forthcoming of the answer. After many guesses, zero worked and was submitted and accepted.
I have problems transferring last year's data / finding old return info each year. Please make this easier.

What's great about it: 99% great, amazed how you've been able to incorporate all the increasing complexities in such an intuitive mqnner.

Multi-user won't switch

I've used TT for years now and it just gets better. When new tax complications are announced in the news, I know TT will have a way of working with it before I sit down to do my taxes.
What's great about it: Asks the right questions
What's not so great: Still have to white/out and copy some pages

Always quick and accurate!!

I have been using Turbo Tax for MANY years and have always found it to be very easy!. As long as I get all the previous years stuff together, it tells me what I need, allows me to enter the date and moves on. This year it only took me 2 hours from start to email! My wife is happy cause I'm not stressed out! Thanks!

So sad, I had to pay

Learned that I need to have taxes taken out of Social Security and increase taxes on retirement and probably need to go back to work.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
