Overall very easy to use; maybe too easy. Makes me wonder if I got all the important info in. My only complaint is, I use TurboTax every year but it always fails to find my last year's return. Maybe my fault

Fairly easy software

I have used Turbo Tax for many years. It always gets the job done, but requires some tweeking on more complicated items. Deluxe needs to continue to support schedule D.
What's great about it: leads you through tax prep
What's not so great: need a fair amount of tax knowledge

I've used TurboTax for years and it just seems to get easier. Being retired helps, but the software just keeps getting more user friendly though my computer skills remain very dated.
What's great about it: Very stuctured easy to follow format - just enter the info requested
What's not so great: Dificult to print seperate documents

2015 software

Have used Turbo Tax for many years. It gets better every year. But this year the stuck in the calculating mode several times. I had to force quit once and simply quit other times. Then I was able to restart, with a some duplicate entry. Otherwise everything worked well.
What's great about it: ease of use
What's not so great: software stuck several times

Used Turbo Tax for many years. It is mostly helpful.
What's great about it: Easy to import forms from Financial Websites
What's not so great: Had to go from Easy Step into Federal Forms in order to complete some 1099R tasks

It would help to have a road map of some sort to know what is ahead.
It would allow the user to pre sort their tax info and would make it go alot faster to have everything organized.

What's not so great: Much changed so its like going in blind. You don't know what is coming next.

Wonderful Tax Preparation Program

While all in all I find TurboTax an easy product to use. I did have some problems (hiccups) which were addressed and solved by TurboTax Support.
What's great about it: Step by Step guidance along the way.
What's not so great: Confusing questions. Wasn't always sure what information was being requested.
