No Problem

Minor problem with loading of software but I called the asistance number and the representative quickly resolved the problem. Once loaded the actual filing out the Federal form was quite easy. The state taxes generated almost instantaneously and I was given an additional $24 for real estate taxes which were not available previously. An excellent experience as I e-filed upon completion. Highly Recommended
What's great about it: Easy to follow, Fast completion of both Federal and State Taxes

Im still not so sure if I got the maximum refund

It may be worth to pay some professional just onceh to see how much refund he could get me...
What's great about it: Cheap and I do have some control
What's not so great: Not as simple as it use to be to a point that i'm not sure if my refund is the highest I could get

Incomplete mailing instructions

I was pleased with this year's Turbo Tax program until it came time to print out my return to send in the mail. The mailing instructions came up for the state return, but not the federal. If it had been the other way around it would not have been a problem, since the state forms included the mailing addresses. I had to go to the IRS website to find the address for my federal return.
What's great about it: Seems accurate, found deductions
What's not so great: Missing instructions

I enjoyed once again using Turbo-tax. I have confidence that it works accurately.
What's great about it: thorough review
What's not so great: seemed to miss classifying a state pension payment as taxable
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Good Acting

Input was easy and well organized. Each step had sufficient explanation to help with the filing. The software responded quickly and there was no wasted time. A good point is to be able to see your status at each step of the process.
What's great about it: Straight forward and organized
What's not so great: some difficulty in updating the original input.

Tax Retrieval

Did Turbo Tax make major changes with saving, paying on credit card and advising to download Turbo Tax from Internet rather than using a disc. These changes should have been clearly indicated upfront when software was purchased.
I've used Turbo Tax in the past and have never encountered so many problems. I am not sure I will use it next year.
These comments apply to doing our taxes on April 4. Today, April 7, I did my mother's taxes but filed electronically as soon as they were completed. I did not want to risk having to do them over if I waited to e-file the next day and they were not accessible.
What's great about it: Walks you through the categories explicitly
What's not so great: Could not retrieve our taxes after completing but wanted to wait until the next day to e-file. Had to do them over.
