High quality but a few problems this year

In general, high quality, user friendly; but a few bad things happened to me this year: first, using the CD (and I do not want to use the cloud, given past history) led to TT misplacing my file so that it became irretrievable during several long hours of searching. I see from the questions submitted by others that I am not alone. Second, the state forms did not include any review by TT as it has in the past; and there remain many requirements for manual inputs on the State forms. Understandable, but not good enough.
What's great about it: Excellent customer chat support; federal tax highly reliable;
What's not so great: Using CD this year had problems; yet who wants to use the cloud given past mishaps; state (MA) still not good enough

Hard Times

Have been using Turbo Tax to file for several years. For some reason this year I had the most difficulty in answering the questions. They seemed very confusing.

Not as good is in the past

I found this years version much more difficult to navigate through the taxes. It made going from one section to another cumbersome. I hope you do a better job next time.
What's great about it: Everything seems to have been there

Since I have used the software many years, maybe that is why it is clearer to me. I do wish the word "farm" could be included or schedule F under Business expenses.
What's great about it: clear instructions, efficient

Good but could bw better

We've lived in Florida for 13 years; have used TurboTax longer than that. TT knows I live in FL, knows FL has no state income tax. Yet every year as I complete my return, TT asks whether I want to start my state return now. This is unnecessary and annoying. The program can surely be configured to conform to non-taxing states.
