Perfection every year!!!

I used to be afraid of tax season but now I am confident and assured it's done right. This is my 7th year using TurboTax and it seems to get easier every year. I can get started after dinner. Install the software and updates, then have TurboTax walk me through everything. I can get to bed early even with all of my itemized deductions for myself and my wife.
What's great about it: Filed joint return with itemized deductions in an evening.

over all good, the division process of incomes between the two states because of moving and the sell/purchase of home needs more words (explanations and tips)
What's great about it: mobility in using the system, able to go back to any entries
What's not so great: some confusion on the division of incomes between states
Pros: I moved

Overall, very good. I have been using TurboTax for the last 10 years or so and am very happy with it.
What's great about it: Mostly Easy and intuitive
What's not so great: user friendliness should be improved in some areas with more explanation about the items
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

2015 Return
on April 6, 2016

Even though I had lost last years files from a disk crash, it was still easy to enter everything I needed to do. I talked with tech support to get help with entering some carry-overs from last year since I had those on a printed copy of my 2014 return.
What's great about it: It is quick and easy to prepare your return as long as you have organized your required documents ahead of time.
What's not so great: None

Not as good

Had to dig through a lot of last years returns for info the program auto filled in previous years.
Didn't find a way to get depreciation for apartment complex which always came through. Lost a $6000+ deduction that should have just come through or been addressed without starting all over.
In review, told to enter an amount for an obscure form without a reference to what it was pertaining to.
Felt much less elegant than past years.
Had to use Audit Defense last year. Useless. My representative told me that if the Franchise Tax Board said I owed it, I probably did. Held my file until the time passed, then closed the file without ever contacting the Franchise Tax Board on my behalf.
I came close to switching to another software this year, probably will next year.
What's great about it: Good interview
What's not so great: much information didn't come through from pervious years
