Easy to use, it gives you good estimates of your donated items (clothing, cookware, old computers and TV and electronics, miscellaneous items).
What's great about it: Easy to use, provides good estimates of your donated items
What's not so great: It takes time and patience
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

First time using Turbo Tax to file my taxes and I LOVE IT!! I will never pay an outrageous amount to tax companies or certified tax assessor. Turbo Tax makes filing easy and maximized my refund!!
What's great about it: Guides as you file to make filing easier. Provides audit risk details and optional auditing protection if necessary.

The interface works quite well. It only crashed once. Switching from Forms to EasyStep went well, and the procedures were smooth. My only quibbles: 1) "File --> Print Front Window" doesn't capture the fact that it prints more than just the front window. It prints the entire form! 2) Instructions on setting the due date for withdrawing funds: I read them aloud over and over again, and still couldn't quite understand them.
What's great about it: Solid Product, Useful Help Center
What's not so great: The Language

I mistyped a figure. After all was completed (NOT filed) I was unable to return to edit/change the figure. I had to do all of the data input all over again.
What's great about it: Easy and straight forward
What's not so great: inablility to receive a response from Turbo Tax

TT still dependable but could improve
on April 6, 2016
Posted by: Ricito
Entering my information seemed easier which was great. I also liked that it did not keep asking to update every single time I opened TT. I am also happy that the cost has remained pretty much the same and this will keep me coming back again.
My issues are at the end where I wish there was a choice on the electronic submission of Federal or State. Also why does TT charge a Percentage of our payment to the IRS for using a Credit Card??? Does it cost TT more for a large payment?? Does cost TT anything for us using a Credit Card? Please provide me some response on this. I may put this question out on the Web for others as a warning for next year.
What's great about it: It appeared more straight forward
What's not so great: Why charge a Credit Card Payment Percentage ???
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments
