Saves me money I think in the long run. Some things need more clarification and less Tax lingo.
What's great about it: Step by step questions
What's not so great: Clarity needed on the Fed vs State Income Difference

What's great about it: runs great and is dependable
What's not so great: none that I could tell

Turbotax for the 25th Year

I really like TurboTax. I like how I am asked questions on each entry. I like that I can skip ahead and enter what I know in the beginning and as I gather more information I can go back and enter it in. As a follow up when I think I am done, I go through the slow step-by-step questions to make sure I did not miss anything. I like the year to year improvements to the program. I have worked on TurboTax on a Mac, then a PC and back to a Mac
What's great about it: Easy Step by Step Questions, Thorough
What's not so great: The program only broke when trying to update but corrected itself later.

I have been using TurboTax for years, have never had an issue. The product has been will development with the user in mind.
Most online software doesn't do that , besides there always someone their to help.

Always use TurboTax

TurboTax is a great tax software for the do it yourself preparer. I enjoy the step by step guide so I don't forget a change for the year. It is nice to go between the setp by step and opening the worksheets for entering data.
What's great about it: Step by step instructions; all forms are available; easy field lookups
What's not so great: Sometimes get lost in all the forms

Consistant year after year

The program is still the one I will use next year for my return and its the best I have tried. But...it did have its quirks. First, after I worked on my return for two hours and got pretty far into the return...two days later when I returned it started me back at the beginning. Did this every time I returned to my 2015 return...very annoying. I donated a car in 2015 and after I imported Its Deductible into Turbo tax....NOTE I purposely did not add the car into Its Deductible...I never was asked about a donated car and I had to dig out the form myself. Frustrating. Using the Back button is not always user friendly
What's great about it: Guide tour of the filing process
What's not so great: Missed a few areas
