I have now used Turbotax since 2011. It is easy to use and all my documents are organized in my electronic file.

This is my first time filing my own taxes, at the age of 21, and I don't think it could have gone any smoother. TurboTax is easy to use and answers every question you could possibly have. They go above and beyond to ensure you get every single penny back that you deserve. Needless to say, filing my taxes was effortless and dare I say it, enjoyable!

Great program that I've used for many years. The new flag feature was a bonus. I like the cost to purchase the program has remained consistent. The prefills for previous years and side by side comparisons are particularly nice.
One flaw I noted was on an edit check. It repeatedly told me to enter a valid date, which I had (01/30/2016) but the problem was that I'd not entered a long enough PIN number.
What's great about it: Learn More feature is succinct but actually helpful/new flags
What's not so great: cost for filing state returns

It really doesn't get any better than TuboTax. Only thing easier than filing with TurboTax is to file with TurboTax and have someone else do the typing for you!
What's great about it: Easy clear instructions and explainations
What's not so great: hitting the back button causes the program to glich and push you to the "complete everything one the list" option.

Quick and Easy!

I had been using an online tax service and doing my own taxes for years. At the behest of a family member, I decided to give this a try and I am happy I did. The questions asked were much more detailed than any online "free" site anyone could ever use. My refund was bigger and that is a HUGE plus.
I have the confidence that these returns were done right from the get-go. I will be definitely telling all my friends about this.

I loved how easy it was and how fast the process was. Helpful hints and tips. Great way to maximize your returns. Loved the Refund calculator monitor on the upper left and the error finder is awesome, very helpful for those who are not CPAs.
What's great about it: step by step detailed instructions, very helpful and easy to use
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I had a baby
