Fantastic Finish!

Even though I dread completing taxes each year, I so appreciate the consistent accuracy I get by using TurboTax. It allows me the time to work on gathering the information, saving what I've completed, and then coming back to the program when I'm ready. I also love the way TurboTax inputs the information from my previous return.
What's great about it: Step by step instructions, links to get answers to questions

The return went as I expected. I have used Turbo Tax Several times and I was pleased each time. There were a few times I used another program because they were a little less expensive but I always came back to Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: you are guided through the whole return. There is no reason for you tto miss any deductions or iny other information.

Preparing taxes with Turbotax

I find it awkward using the Medical deduction categories in TurboTax that have no corresponding match in tax law. Prescriptions are easy but making a distinction between facility fees, lab fees and doctor bills continues to trouble me every year.
What's great about it: Leads you by the hand to miminize chances of error
What's not so great: Deduction categories in areas like medical expenses match nothing in the tax law

Now a Tradition!

I have used TurboTax for 5-6 years now. Most of the work and calculations are accomplished by TT. It seems to become more and more easy to use as the years roll by. It's dependable and friendly, especially for those that dread having to do their taxes each year. TT even makes me feel good when I don't get a refund (which is the case each year!).
What's great about it: User friendly, accurate, very good support
What's not so great: Still a ways to go be become even more user friendly

What's not so great: After paying a one-time large capital gains amount, it is too dificult to set the next years income amount.

I felt that once I was on

What's great about it: Debbie was very pleasant, patient and resolved the problem
What's not so great: picked my own forms however skipped sales tax deduction on first round. It is very easy to overlook.
