It is hard to find the "bad debt" area. Could a more prominent indicator be added?
What's great about it: Very helpful.
What's not so great: A "back" button added to top, maybe? T.T. Business deleted all #'s when I "saved" the first time, I redid return.

I have been doing taxes for years and honestly this program is the best I have seen. If you are a first time user it will walk you through step by step, If you have done taxes before and know how to move around a return you can jump right to what you need. It checks your information and scans for errors, it points out savings you may have forgot or just simply overlooked. I can not say enough positive things about this program and as far as the down side of the program, well honestly I haven't found any. SEE YOU NEXT YEAR!!!
What's great about it: Walks you through step by step
What's not so great: Turbo Tax has no Cons........
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

State Filing Charge is price gouging

I already paid a lot of money for this program at the store. Why do I have to pay even more for state filing. Just add it to the price at the store. Its a sneaky way to make the store price seem reasonable.
What's great about it: simple data entry
What's not so great: paid too much for state filing

Experience peace of mind

We get Turbo Tax every year for the past 30 years. It covers every section related to your filing. The program leads you along so you don't miss any section that is appropriate for your filing status. It really gives us Peace of Mind.
What's great about it: It automatically proceeds to next section that needs to be completed, so you don't miss anything.
What's not so great: None

1099B for sales with no basis

My 1099B, which I downloaded from the broker, said the sales should be entered on form 8949 with box 3 and either C or E checked. Turbotax entered these items both in the 1099B worksheet and form 8949 and then in the error check had all of both entries checked.
What's not so great: doesn't provide info as to where tolist

Turbo tax is not for beginners or first time users if your return is complicated. I wished it would tell you if your taxes will go up or down with your responses.
What's great about it: THOROUGHNESS
What's not so great: Had some difficulty in figuring out how to print my return

Easy!!!

I've used TurboTax for many years and have always appreciated the easy step by step process the software guides you through the tax return. Total time from start to finish should take no more than 2 hours for most people and that is only if you are very thorough in entering and double checking your entered info as I am.
What's great about it: Guide through steps are tremendous help
