Get better and easier every year.

For anyone that prefers to take care of their own taxes, the cost of TurboTax is very fair considering the product and service provided. After using TT for more than two decades, I know that the product works and can be trusted.
What's great about it: Even easier
What's not so great: Takes time to make sure of specifics
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Love Turbotax!

I love TurboTax - have used it for years, but this year I received no information about the Pin number changes and my return was rejected several times. After calling the IRS, we found out that the ID theft 6 digit pin numbers are in the Other tax situation module in TurboTax. I never got any prompts about that. I did do the TurboTax updates also.
What's great about it: Very easy to use
What's not so great: Received no info from Turbotax about pin - return rejected
Pros: I bought or sold investments

with paying to file state when one filing was to be included will likely keep me from purchasing your software again.

Easy and Painless

I've used Turbo Tax for several years. Wouldn't even consider switching to another tool.
What's great about it: Guided tour was incredibly easy to use.
What's not so great: Nothing really.

WOW, what happened this year?

What happened to dependable, consistent program writing and testing? 3 separate spots were frozen or looped in "calculating" mode through both state and federal returns. State return is still in a loop and won't let me finish. Automated help answers don't answer anything, instead they rely on the end users to coach each other through the hard parts. Been using TurboTax every year since it came out ... Have to be honest ... this is my last year.
What's great about it: Not much new, data entry is smooth and simple
What's not so great: This is the WOW part .... calculation and program freezes!!!!

At times, I questioned whether I would ever use TT again. This version was much more cumbersome than prior years and we have been users for 10 years.
Actually, scrolling through this survey is painful!!
Saving initial loading and saving afterwards required a call for help.

What's great about it: I finally got through it.
What's not so great: saving and retrieval to doc other than the App was difficult; side bar VERY cumbersome
