Its a great program

I had a little a little trouble doing the Georgia State Taxes, but I called the help line and the representative Help me, until it was resolved!! I recommend turbo tax to anyone!!!
What's great about it: ease of the program, it gave you step by step directions
What's not so great: nothing
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Turbo Tax 2015 - Not as efficient as prior years

The program did not seem as intuitive as in prior years. And it did not seem to progress in a logical fashion. I also felt as though I were jumping around a little too much. The software assumes you know more about taxes than you probably do. And it assumes you know more about using the software than you do. It is easy enough to get to a "section", but, it is sometimes difficult to get to a specific "page".
I also did not appreciate the additional fee for e-filing my state return.
But even with all of the above "bumps" ... it is better than paper and pencil.
What's great about it: It got the job done
What's not so great: Not as intuitive and does not seem to be logical - took much longer to complete my taxes this year.

good program

We use TT every year and find it a good and easy to navigate program.
Alaska has no income tax and TT tries to give us the max refund by giving us a state income tax deduction. We also have a veritable sales tax system depending on the area and time of year TT can't grasp that concept either. Would be helpful if this gray area was fixed for us in Alaska.

Worst experience in many years. Updating feature was inoperative and required manual workaround which continued to expose you to automatic download.

No prompt for Fed e-file and state paper filing

After e-filing just the Federal return, it does not continue to help you mail your State refund by prompting you to print a copy for that purpose. That has always annoyed me. I have to go manually find my State return, print it, and use my file copy of my Federal return to attach to it.
What's great about it: Easy Federal e-file
What's not so great: no option to print State return for mailing

2015 Tax Filing

I completed my taxes in about 5 hours since I had to search for some information. The questions were straight forward and easy to answer. I have used TurboTax for some years and have never had any problems. I believe it is the best on the market.
What's great about it: Easy to use, complete information available
What's not so great: Did not have any

5 hours for Fed and State

I've been using TurboTax for a number of years now, and either I'm getting smarter, or TurboTax is getting easier to use. This time no swearing, no crying, etc., just moving from page to page without delay.
What's great about it: Easy to follow instructions

For someone who is "technically" challenged when it comes to computers,the Turbo Tax system is very easy to use. Guides you step by step just as it says it will do.
