It is one of or the best tax preparation system around. I have using Turbo Tax for about 20 years. The first year I used it, it caught a mistake on my social security number where the government had a wrong birth date that allowed to get corrected. It is a simple and thorough program with help along the way. You can start and stop and go back to where you left of at a later time. It is the only program I intend on using.
What's great about it: step by step with guidance
What's not so great: if error had two areas I had to delete because I cound not fix

I have used TurboTax for several years and find it easy and inexpensive.
What's great about it: easy to use; good question and answer
What's not so great: can only efile federal and not state

Once I started by pretending that my husband was doing input, it assumed things which need to always be converted to me. I am not sure I can easily change that since I've been using T-Tax forever. At a minimum, it should be jointly owned unless indicated otherwise
What's great about it: All items transfer easily yr to yr
What's not so great: when importing, it assumes accounts all belong to my husband - it doesn't ask

Great - Have used TurboTax for over 10 years.
What's great about it: Took only 45 minutes for taxes this year.
What's not so great: Not too easy on investment sales of stocks.

10 years with Turbo Tax!!

I have now used TurboTax for 10 years and like it better each year as I get older. The instructions are easy to follow, with excellent extra help available. We have had some confusing situations develop with our taxes over the years and TT worked me through it in every case - the transition from long term employment to being retired, selling a home and relocating was handled without a problem! I have faith in TT and will continue to buy the CD as soon as it is available every year! And, by the way, the 'It's Deductible' software is a GREAT help throughout the year, and it is FREE!! THANKS INTUIT, for an excellent product!
What's great about it: - TT has worked for me for 10 years! - never experienced an error, easy to follow the instructions and the extra help i
What's not so great: would like more prominent flagging of the 'needs review' areas, I kept missing one.

I think that you should recommend that people maximize their tax deductible HSA contribution, not just an IRA for which you get ad revenue.

whew what a year!

This was a saver. I usually do the taxes in January and I was so far behind and I was praying it would be simple. It was not simple this year but turbo was a trooper and helped me all the way.
All those new health cover issues were tricky this year nothing was going my way. (timewise, physical wise etc)
Turbo held my hand and although it and we got through it together. Thanks!
What's great about it: looking at last years information is very helpful
What's not so great: none that I found

2015 taxes done

Over the process was well done. Only glitches was timing out near the end.
What's great about it: Ease of use and able to correct areas
What's not so great: Keep timing out when trying to pay by credit card
