Life made easy

First this is a great product. I love being able to look at my past years and see how things have changed.
What I didn't like was the amount of scrolling. After going through each section you are dropped back at the top and have to scroll all the way back to the bottom to go to the next question. It would be far easier if it came back to the last question and you only scrolled to the next question.

While it was easy to use, some knowledge of tax law made it easier. Calculation on non-taxable amount of my Federal Civil Service income had to be taken on faith since it did not show how the non-taxable amount was calculated. Generally, very happy with this and past year's program.
What's great about it: Very easy to use
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Simple to use

I've used TurboTax for just 3 years now and love it. I don't know why I didn't start sooner. I save money by not paying someone else to do the work and it just takes me a couple of hours in one evening to enter everything and double-check it. E-filing is amazing! I usually get my refund in 10-14 days from filing.
What's great about it: Walks you step-by-step and makes sure you cover everything.
What's not so great: Haven't found any yet...

Slightly more confusing this year

While still a very simple to use tax prep system, I still felt like maybe I should ask a real person about certain sections, like how to make sure my health insurance was deductible, whether or not my home-based business could be filed with my personal tax filings, etc.
What's great about it: Felt much more safe
What's not so great: Still using confusing tax language in some sections

Easy and organized for anyone

A great product that overall improves with each passing year. The help functionality has matured to a point where selecting a form number it can display information on whether it is for your state return or not.
When something like the deluxe version is available, why would people want to use a tax office like HR Block or others.
The cost of the software alone offsets a federal e-filing fee. I have been using turbo tax since 1999 and it has never disappointed me.
What's great about it: Using the interview or just the forms. Interview allows you to focus on only what you need.
What's not so great: Updates were slower than I remember from last year.
