I have used turbo tax for a number of years now and I wouldn't consider changing to any other service.
What's great about it: Very easy and it walk's you through everything.
What's not so great: Don't have any.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I recommend turbo tax to all my friends after the first time using it they can't believe that they waited so long to use it. it's very easy to follow and it offers plenty of "explain this" sections. bravo!
What's great about it: easy to follow, acceptable cost, and plenty of explainations
What's not so great: state e-file cost could be less
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

We have personal, rental, and real estate agent requirements and TurboTax works well for us.

Another good experience with Turbotax!

No problems with data entry. My questions were answered with the supplementary Help as needed. All went well until I tried to pay Turbotax for the State eFiling. Prior password did not work, and my email was apparently not recognized. Repeated attempts to verify ID were uncertain, and Password reset was inoperative. I filed the Fed and am now trying to file the State by mail. I have not yet found the path to do this.
What's great about it: Thorough, understandable, efficient.
What's not so great: Login for paying did not recognize me.

Easy and thorough

I had my taxes done by a business for the last three years, but never seemed to get anything extra by doing so. I had more than just w-2's, but no complicated business dealings, so I went with Turbotax. Easy, thorough, no questions, and finished it with a sense of accomplishment....and a feeling that I should have been using Turbotax a lot more in the past!
What's great about it: Very detailed process, explanations everywhere.
What's not so great: none

Turbo Tax On Line Filing (Federal and State)

I'm 74 years old and I'm definitely NOT a computer jock. However, I found Turbo Tax Software extremely easy to work with. This software package has excellent step-by-step instructions, with the ability to ask questions at any step. It took me about 4 hours total to complete the Turbo Tax forms and E-file, but at least 2 hours of that time was related to finding all my records. Next time, I'll have all 1099R Income documents, Real Estate Tax records, and Interest/Dividends documents ready so I can enter data more efficiently. All in all ... an easy way to electronically file Federal and State Income Taxes.
What's great about it: Easy to work with. Clear and concise instructions.
What's not so great: None
