If it ain't broke don't fix it.

I have two gripes. After entering information and clicking "done" in a sub category I am sent back to the top of the page for that category, then I have to scroll to the bottom. Why can't it track along with where I am inputting data? Gripe number 2; I'd like to have the option to have a new window open in the category I am working to allow me to update info in that window and go look at data in other categories.
What's great about it: I like that Turbo Tax has the familiar look and feel year to year.
What's not so great: Screen updating is annoying.

The federal is pretty good. The pain is the ID theft notification, you can't get out of it or cancel it as description is poor. Luckily, I did not save for awhile, quit program & restarted to avoid this nightmare. The State for MT is extremely poor. I have to go to a PDF of 2014 taxes & enter manually, you reference specific lines - enter it for pete's sake!!! Earn that State filing fee. You could at least download the state booklet as a guide.
What's great about it: Federal is pretty good
What's not so great: State (MT) is junk, still have to enter all manually

The only issue I had was that there was an indicator that state taxes were taken but I live in a state where there is no state income tax but work remote from a state that does. I could not figure where the state taxes paid was coming from and chose the TX sales tax over the number Turbo tax seemed to generate. Where a number comes from would be helpful in such situations I could not find if I had entered a line on the W2 badly..

Easy Express!

I love Turbo Tax, I can finally prepare my own taxes and my daughters without worry or stress. I am a beginner to doing my own taxes and I was afraid to try but I used Turbo Tax last year, got a great refund and it was fast and simple, easy to understand. I just finished my tax returns for this year and also got a great return. I started today and finished both mine and my daughters. It was a great experience, just read a question and answer yes or no and add numbers! Thank you Turbo Tax for a low cost great return !
What's great about it: Simple to understand & Super Fast! I'm a beginner!
What's not so great: Only my lack of knowledge about taxes.
