Glad It's Done!

I had some problems both with Turbo Tax and my computer but finally got it done. I'll have to think about next year!!!
What's great about it: I thought it would keep my costs down but it probably didn't with the deductions from my refund and the cost of TTax
What's not so great: Wouldn't let me delete some things I wanted to like the BIG deduction for banking tax refund

BETTER THAN LAST YEAR

THE PROGRAM IS IMPORVING EVERY YEAR. THE MORE I USE IT THE BETTER I LIKE IT.
What's great about it: I DID NOT HAVE ANY ISSUES WITH THE STATE RETURN THIS YEAR (GOOD JOB)
What's not so great: NONE BUT WOULD LIKE TO HAVE GOTTEN A BIGGER REFUND (THATS THE GOV.)

Been Using Intuit programs for years!

I have been a loyal Intuit customer for years, and that says a lot. Keeping up with finances is so easy with Quicken and QuickBooks (once you take the time to learn them) and TurboTax is right there helping as well. The only other reliable way to keep everything in order is by ledger and that is very time consuming and keeping the paper records becomes a fire hazard.
So again, Thank you Intuit!
What's great about it: Simple to use and understand.
What's not so great: I have to file taxes.

A good application that should help anyone receive the maximum return that is owed to them. Helps keep me from leaving money on the IRS table!

What's great about it: Good to go through all the scenarios to save the most
What's not so great: A little time consuming, but not bad if you have your documents beforehand

Turbo Tax 2015

Overall, I was impressed with Turbo Tax. The only drawback that I found is that I was unable to NOT file my State return which I could have done for Free with the State

What's not so great: No Instructions for Not filing State with Turbo Tax

First time filing my own taxes in 13 years

I have not filled my own taxes in 13 years (H&R Block) had processed them for me over the last 13 years. This year I challenged myself and decided to do them myself. I chose this product after reading dozens of great reviews. I decided to take on the challenge and see what fun it would be and how long it would take me. I must say it was really easy and I followed all the instructions and it took me 6 hrs however, I was very careful and took my time. I would highly recommend this product and would do this again next year with the same product. I learned several things while doing my own taxes which was well worth the time and money of this product.
What's great about it: It was easy to follow and when I needed help I clicked on the links
What's not so great: Price for Peace of Mind could be lowered

I have used TurboTax for nearly 10 years with no problems, always trusting the accuracy and thoroughness of this software. It is simple to use, easy to follow, and does an excellent job of exploring all possible avenues for deductions and minimizing the amount of tax owed on both Federal and State tax returns. Whether filing a first return or as an experienced professional, TurboTax is the only way to complete both Federal and State tax returns.
What's great about it: Provides strong analysis of income and credits
What's not so great: Some overly obvious questions
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Great Help

I have been doing taxes with other preparer's private and corporate for years always barely paying in enough or not paying in enough. With Turbo Tax it helped me take advantage of opportunities that others did not bring to my attention in the past....
What's great about it: Step by step to make sure we remember everything
What's not so great: Needed more advice on IRA contributions
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
