better than ever

I don't like looking at the IRS help sheets, all the fine print and exemptions. TurboTax handles all that and creates a quick and easy question-and-answer routine that is almost fun.
What's great about it: the easy to understand interface takes IRS complexity away

What's great about it: Have used Turbo Tax for the last several years and have always found it simple to complete
What's not so great: Having to pay to e-file the state return
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have used Turbo Tax for over 15 year user and once again reliable, thorough and efficient. I would recommend to anyone for its ease of use, handles my ever changing tax situations extremely well and accurately. Thanks for a great product!!
What's great about it: Thorough but also very efficient. Completed my fairly complicated return in 1.5 total hours
What's not so great: Seems to want to reload/delay occasionally when changing from step by step to forms view
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I use Turbo Tax every year to file my Federal and State Taxes and it only takes me a few hours to get it all accomplished! I can't imagine an itemized return going any quicker. I didn't have to make an appointment with an accountant and spend hours mulling over forms and receipts. This is the way to go!!

It demanded that I enter box 13a from forms 1099-R. There is not a box 13a on that form so I had to call and ask. It apparently wants the state abbreviation (CA). It would be helpful if it explained, or had a selection table.
What's great about it: Fairly Easy
What's not so great: Asked for a box which didn't appear on the form.

Interesting experience

What I feared would be a lesson in futility turned into a great experience. Yeah, lots of prep work because this is the first time we had itemized. It was all for the good. This almost makes me look forward to doing next year's returns. I hope to have answers for some questions by next year's return. Good experience all together.
