Always a little less stressful with TurboTax

Every year I consider paying someone to do my taxes, but somehow I end up with my stack of papers and TurboTax. I will never fully feel stress-free over taxes, but working through with TurboTax does calm me a bit. It is very systematic and offers a lot of info on why certain entries are needed. Each year, things seem to be a little more transparent in the software, and filing is always easy. I GREATLY appreciate the many steps for reviewing and checking.
What's great about it: Walks through every step; good help topics, many opportunities to check and recheck
What's not so great: Not always sure what forms are being included until the end; scares me with automatically telling me to estimate taxes

Another year done!

Another successful year using Turbo tax. Like the fact that they went back to Deluxe for ability to file extended pieces of income like S Corp K1's and 1098 T and 1099 Q.
Product had a few bugs that i have not experienced in the past. When carrying over the prior year, the int and div companies did not default into the name when editing them. You had to retype it and then you end up with duplicates if you didn't type it exactly the same.
The Sched K1 carry overs did not have this issue. Just the int and div income companies.

Overall , a great product.
What's great about it: Navigation, help links, ease of flow.
What's not so great: Bugs this year in a few spots.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Easy and Quick

If you find something you forgot to enter, its easy to go back. Once entered TurboTax takes you back to where you left off. Pop-up help is there if you need it.
What's great about it: Easy to revise previous sections. It could download our W2s.
What's not so great: 2015 TurboTax couldn't find 2014 TurboTax forms but reentering was a snap.

Sometimes makes you go through sections of the interview multiple times rather than taking you where you last were or want to go from the forms.
What's great about it: Still most comprehensive tax software suitable for most people
What's not so great: Awkward at times moving between the interview and forms.

Easy to walk through

TurboTax is easy to go through as it guides the user through every income and deduction. The only complaint is that the filer will need a big, fast, updated computer to handle all the work.
What's great about it: Every step is guided
