I've used Turbo Tax for many years, and I find it very easy to follow each step. You can do each step in detail or pass through things you know do not pertain to you. I do my taxes and have taught my adult kids to do their taxes also using Turbo Tax. I have never had any problems with Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Very easy to follow instructions

2015 Turbo Tax

Hard to navigate. Had to go through to many screens to get to what I wanted to work on. Then you'd have to re-answer everything in that section. Seems like the program works the user instead of the user working the program.
What's not so great: less user friendly
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Easy to use

For people with basic income and no serious complicated tax issues Turbo Tax is easy, accurate, affordable. I like being able to prepare my tax return at my convenience and e-filing from home.
What's great about it: TurboTax is easy to use and has improved over the years. Much much cheaper than hiring an accoutant.
What's not so great: none

Over all I do like Turbo Tax. I just did not like our end result so much.
What's great about it: Easier to learn what I do not understand
What's not so great: Some of the 401k and 403B deduction explanations are still hard to grasp

Great features and execution, slow install

Everything worked well and the application easily stepped me through everything needed. Any place I had questions, it had the answers.
It did take a very long time to install and it would help if they would register with Apple as an identified developer.

Best Year YET......

Thank you Turbo tax.... You make filing my taxes a breeze!!! By far this was the best and very simplified.... Thank you!!! see you next year :)
What's great about it: Everything loaded with ease from the year before, also loved the colum that showed how i entered last years taxes!
What's not so great: none!!! this was the best by far

Turbo Tax makes this as painless as possible. Nobody likes doing this, but the step by step guidance makes this doable, even with complex situations. The questions asked are to the point and help you think about the specifics of what you are entering. Also, the helpful hints you can click on give needed information.
What's great about it: The guidance is excellent
What's not so great: Sometimes during review of a section info is lost
Pros: I bought or sold investments
