Price Discrepancy

Very disappointed I had to go to a store and purchase a disk to save $40+ dollars on my turbotax this year. I've used TurboTax for several years....returning customers should receive online discount.
What's great about it: Met expectations for ease
What's not so great: HUGE price discrepancy for returning customers doing online return versus going to store and purchasing a disk.

Finally Done

Turbo Tax is great especially the help with the value of non-cash items donated to charities. I also like being able to go step by step initially and then picking or choosing when I go back to review any changes.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax covered all of the aspects of my pesonal business and all possible itemized deductions.
What's not so great: The portion about 1099Misc and your personal business was a little confusing to ensure that I was not double counting.

Couldn't be easier

The only thing that takes any time when using Turbo Tax is assembling my own personal documents such as receipts for dependent care, donations or major purchases. Everything else is seamless and easy because it steps you through each source of income and opportunity for deduction/credit. In addition, it is exceptionally thorough in its presentation of what is required for each step but doesn't force you to read all of it in order to move forward, just what applies to you or what you have interest in exploring. It's credibility is supported by the fact that each step can be traced back to the source IRS documentation with the click of a button in case you wish to read and interpret for yourself. The audit check provides confidence that nothing was missed or, potentially, miskeyed. Filing with Turbo Tax just couldn't be any easier.
What's great about it: Every resource is available for you with minimal 'clicks'

Have always preferred Turbo Tax over H&R Block

This is the first year that I have run into an issue with TurboTax most likely because my laptop was converted to Windows 10. It seems that whenever I make a change the program closes down and I have to click on the TurboTax icon again. I have as feeling that this is directly related to Windows 10 but the program should work within that environment without difficulty.
What's great about it: Easy to use, very accurate.
What's not so great: Does not work well with Windows 10. Additional program work needed on that I think.

I been using it for the 5th year in a row since it reduces the time to do this process.
What's great about it: Its reduces filing time
What's not so great: some options are not as flexible as with the paper forms
