Easy and Fast!

We have used Turbo Tax for three years now; I find it easy to use and the "walk me through everything" option works fine for us. Doing both our Fed and State returns is done in less than an hour.

TurboTax is my friend

Having used TurboTax for many years now, it is an old friend, familiar and reliable. Each year it seems to get easier and fewer screens to look at unless I want to. This year, it seemed to do everything right, so by the end, I had no errors that I had to go back and fix (that doesn't mean there aren't human errors, of course!). Anyway, I really appreciate the product and hope that it will be equally helpful when I do have some life changes, like retirement, to factor in.
What's great about it: Consistent; shows previous year info and Charity info (helps a lot in remembering areas I have something to enter).
What's not so great: Will need to switch computers next year; advice on what I need to transfer and where to make things work

Easy but tone down the up sell.

Tell me what I should be paying for upfront within the software.
What's great about it: Easy to use, simple to understand
What's not so great: constant up sell, pricing decievinly far down use journey

I have used This tax program in the past in the early 2000. Now that i used this program there has been a lot of changes and it's a better program, I'll be using it next year.
What's great about it: I like the way they went step by step into every part
What's not so great: couldn't find some forms that my tax person used last year

Got audited by CA state last year for a TT mistake

TurboTax filed my federal correctly but my state incorrectly for tax year 2014. I've been using TurboTax for years, still used it this year because it's easy to use and I'm a creature of habit. However, I got audited by CA state last year and had to get a lawyer because I was HOH with my Mom - a legal resident or immigrant - as my dependent. Somehow, TurboTax generated a "no" answer on my CA FTB 4803e asking if my Mom was a US citizen or resident. If she was not, then I would not have qualified so I'm not sure why Turbo Tax did not catch that. Yes, I realize I would have caught this mistake, too, if I went through each item on my 40-page tax document.
What's great about it: easy to use
What's not so great: Got audited by CA state in 2015 (for tax year 2014)...

TurboTax delivers year after year. I tried out a competitor's product last year. It worked but was a lot less nimble at dealing with non-standard issues. Happy to have returned to the Intuit world this year.
What's great about it: Makes filing taxes as quick and simple as possible

I have been using TurboTax for years with easy and support. It transfers last years info which saves you time and decreases entry errors dramatically. All you have to do is enter the rest of the current years information and answer questions if needed. It is easy to download the complete return in a PDF and print. Efiling takes seconds. I love TurboTx.
What's great about it: Help information explanations
