Refund Satisfactions

This is my 6th consecutive year using Turbo Tax and have never experienced any problems with my tax returns.
What's great about it: Feeling more secure with final result
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Poor software

It was much harder to review and edit than the Turbo Tax Deluxe I've used in the past. In the past we also got one state return included in the price and we didn't get that this year.
What's not so great: hard to review and edit, didn't give me a state return
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Snazzy Program

Turbotax made filing my taxes (for the first time on my own!) easy and cool! I felt like a cool cat filing these taxes in no time at all. No more being a loser and having my mom do them for me! (Full disclosure: my mom sat next to me the whole time- thanks, mom! I <3 you!)
What's great about it: Snazzy and fast
What's not so great: Taxes are the worst

1st Time filing on My Owm

I was nervous at first doing my own taxes myself. My ex used to do this all. I liked the step by step categories to go through. My oldest daughter luckily had done this before and helped me. Just a little different since she rents and I'm a home owner, but we got through this.
What's great about it: Loved that my info from W2 could be uploaded
What's not so great: For me a little tricky doing on my own

I HAVE USED TURBO TAX FOR A FEW YEARS BUT JUST NOT SURE GETTING BEST RETURN SINCE I SOMETIMES OWE.
What's great about it: EASY, USER FRIENDLY
What's not so great: NO LIVE PERSON TO ASK QUESTIONS
