Unable to figure out why I had to pay for our state filing when the version that I purchased had one free filing.
What's great about it: easy to complete
What's not so great: paid for turbo tax that had one free state filing and still had to pay for state filing

Deluxe has all the features I needed back

Heard / read all the rumors that is was not put back the way it was before last years changes. I did not run into any of the issues I read. there was no limitation on the div as some people stated. I had large amount an no request to upgrade.

What's great about it: Liked that I did not have to upgrade to Premium
What's not so great: web site misleading as to what returned to Deluxe

What's not so great: Did not include stock investments and business expenses like last year.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

For those of us who are not accountants, this program is a life-saver around tax time... It's always easy to walk through each step of the tax form, category by category. Instantly accessible for users of all levels, the simple how-to approach for each area of the tax form is very logically laid out and easy to follow. Keep up the great work, Turbo Tax team!!!...

What's not so great: Nothing that I can think of...

As always, information is gathered in a logical manner and support is readily available. Have been using Turbo Tax for the past 14 years, and plan to continue.

Double check it yourself

I did my initial return info in February with current software. I had a return coming to me at about $4k. I was waiting on one document. Document arrives at the end of March, I open the program in early April, needing software updates, update, and open my Feb. return. My return of $4k changes to owing $2k.
I double checked everything, it seemed fine, and it wouldn't change. I made a new return, and it went back to my $4k return. I don't get it.
What's great about it: It walks you through things
What's not so great: Updated the software, change my return to owe.
