It's convenient, but the total fees I paid for this are more than what I paid my CPA.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

sign in issues

When prompted by the software to sign in I couldn't sign in with my old password, so I had to change it. I tried to sign in with the new password and turbotax would not accept it. After several tries I gave up. You have to completely close the software and reopen it in order for the new password to work. Of course TurboTax doesn't tell you to do that, you have to figure it out on your own after much frustration.
What's great about it: easy to use

Good job

I really like being able to do my federal and state taxes in one day in my home. No making an appointment and sitting down with a stranger with all my financial records. I have been using Turbo Tax for about 10 years now.
What's great about it: Easy to use. Simple to understand and navigate through the forms.
What's not so great: can't think of any

Takes the pain out of tax filing

Have used Turbo Tax for several years. Super easy to reference prior year forms. Filing is FAST.
What's great about it: It's Deductible!
What's not so great: Still have to pay taxes!

A very good program

I have used and enjoyed TurboTax since 2008. For the past 3 years, I cannot file my state electronically. This is the only reason I cannot call this program great or 5-star. Please spend efforts to improve the state versions.
What's great about it: The Federal was a stap
What's not so great: State still needs work
