So Easy

I think this does get easier every year. As long as I have my documents it takes less than 2 hours to get it done!
What's great about it: I love that I can just do this step by step / easier every year I do it
What's not so great: Had a hard time finding the Iowa 529 section

Have been using this software since 486 has new. To correct one fault it seems another is added. The addition of proof of successful is a big plus in that not all coonections are equal.
What's great about it: Now providing proof of E-file
What's not so great: Updates on each iteration

easy, frustrating with request to chng password

it was easy to use and input the information, but to file it was not as easy, the program asked me my name, but should have asked first name that should appear on return. Easier way to change reset password. could not access.
What's great about it: easy to use
What's not so great: primary on tax, not me but am the one inputting info, easier way to switch

EIN Rejection of Returns

When the e-Filed returns were all rejected due to mismatched EINs, the only alternative since they were correct was to paper file my returns. It was hard to figure out how to do so in Turbotax.

What's not so great: EINs from 1099s all rejected

i use turbo tax year after year and continue to be very happy with the quality and ease of use.
What's great about it: Easy to use, does must of the work for you.
What's not so great: Cost, a little pricey for the deluxe version

Documentation Reminder

Everyone misses something. It would be really nice if one can install and then open it up and answer the initial questions that the app begins with and the app them tells you what odd documentation (forms) you will need before getting into it and them finding out that you are missing something that will take a couple days to get from a bank or a broker. You only tell what form that is best to file. If your income is investment based you need to tell the person that they need it from banks, insurance companies, and brokers as some don't automatically send you anything. This lag really slows you down so add something that points folks who may not get their income entierly from wages or tips in the right direction first before getting into the meat of the reporting.
What's great about it: Simple formatting
What's not so great: Need to work the worksheets a bit more.
Pros: I bought or sold investments, I moved

Quick and Easy!

Great product! We've used it for years to help us receive the maximum refund and save money by doing our own taxes.
What's great about it: Simple steps guide you through your itemized deductions
What's not so great: Autofill from last year's tax forms did not work
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Once again easy to use

Having used TurboTax for my taxes over the past several year, I am sold! The simple, step-by-step process makes for easy entry on even more involved returns.
I have also needed to call into the support line and had wonderful success. Keep it up!
What's great about it: Q&A Format
What's not so great: While data carries over from past years, not all answers to questions do.
