Selection made to print return; hit continue, save to PDF file was done, continued on WITHOUT ever printing the return. This is my only problem with TurboTax.
What's not so great: File by mail page printing.

Doing The Dreaded Taxes The Easy Way

I have been using Turbo Tax for over 20 years now. I really like the import from the previous years return to save redundant information data entry. The software has improved to make filing a breeze, with different packages that meet with specific needs. The software automatically calculates the best method and most productive return based on deductions and other data. Takes a little stress away from this annual chore.
What's great about it: Step by Step guidance with detailed information bubbles on each topic.
What's not so great: A price for the state E-file could be more economical.

Still the best filing software available, but minor bugs remain; for example, the program will save modifications to your return even if you choose to "revert changes" upon closing. Nevertheless, still easy to use and accurate.
What's great about it: Intuitive interface, fast filing process
What's not so great: Some user-interface bugs

charging outrageous $'s for second state program. You want more for it than what I spent for the entire Turbotax program! Also, last minute attempt to charge for state return filing is cheesy. I printed it out and sent it in.
What's great about it: easy to download 1099's
What's not so great: too much $ for second state program

I still find it cumbersome the way it makes you close out one and then figure how to re-enter the other to accomplish e-filing fed and mailing state. Turbotax should provide one screen that allows you to select e-file fed and mail state and then sequentially lead you through both.
What's great about it: great step by step filing instructions
What's not so great: E-filing fed and then mailing state
