Easy, with some glitches

Another very simple filing year with TurboTax.
I did have a couple of glitches:
I accidentally bought the Federal version without the State option; in the end that cost me double, when the cost of the state was added.
As usual, the state portion is not quite as polished as the federal. For one part I had to refer back to federal for a particular amount, which had not been carried over automatically. When I returned to state that same interview element had disappeared and I had to go into Forms mode, find the form, and figure out how to fill it out.
Also, couldn't e-file state due to having one extra field on my w-2. Probably more of a problem with the state's e-file than with TurboTax.
All things considered, I still really appreciate how comprehensive and at the same time simple TurboTax is. I've been a TurboTax user ever since it was the first year of MacInTax. It gets better and simpler each year.
What's great about it: Easy to use, well organized and explained
What's not so great: Costs double if you accidentally buy Federal without State

Easy to Use

My whole family uses TurboTax.
What's great about it: Goes step by step and allows you to review all your options
What's not so great: Wish it was stored on a centralized location. My hard drive crashed and with no backup couldn't locate returns.

Flawless Major Change of Status

Had to enter some esoteric info in FORMS mode; easy once we understood that was needed.
What's great about it: Combined two peeps 2014 history with ease

TurboTax is a great software that is easy to use and ask just the right questions to complete the tax return yourself.

Turbo Tax - The BEST!!

I having been using Turbo Tax for at least a dozen years. It is obvious that Turbo Tax strives to keep their product up to date for data and technological enhancements. Why one anyone NOT use Turbo Tax? The software is markedly less costly than using an accountant, and far superior to other tax services.
Unless a person's finances are very complicated, Turbo Tax is the most logical service to use.
What's great about it: Concise, accurate, easy to use
What's not so great: My taxes are too high :-)

Some Confusion

TurboTax did its usual good job in ease of data input and calculations. However it did not accept my inputs for FLI and SDI which were correctly inputted from my W-2. Also, probably by necessity, the filing process has become more time consuming and cumbersome and required information which was not readily available because it wasn't needed in the past.
What's great about it: Generally good as always.
What's not so great: Confusion in filing.

TurboTax 2015 experience

Deluxe is more than adequate for high net worth with complex financial situations associated with stocks/bonds. I have no experience using TurboTax as a business owner. Overkill for someone without itemized deductions. My kids are using TurboTax online for their returns. I have used TurboTax since 1996 and couldn't imagine navigating the filing process without it. Which says the USA desparately needs a tax code overhaul - I'm sure we lose more GDP due to compliance costs than we capture wtih the bulk of the tax code.
What's great about it: Easy to use and intuitive; Interface has not changed substantially for years so familar process.
What's not so great: None
