After bad turbotax experience on 2014 I almost switched software providers
What's great about it: Better help options, clearer data entry, simplified entry on some items, easy data upload from on line accounts
What's not so great: Scholarship and college credits still very poorly organized, limited on line help

Two complaints.
1. The 'continue' and 'done' buttons are placed at the bottom of the page, which often requires scrolling. Why not at the top as well?
2. It appears that to print a return for filing one has to go via Acrobat. If so, that's a bother, but the UI should say so. Otherwise, the UI is unclear as to how to go about it.
What's great about it: Good detail
What's not so great: A couple of UI glitches

Not much more to say than that
What's great about it: I don't have much for deductions, so it went pretty fast, and easy.
What's not so great: My state employer identification number had a hyphen in it. It took a wwhile to realize I had to remove that.

Usability issues

Every year, the software seems to get a little less usable. Granted, I used to use the Mac version and now am using the Windows version.
I wasted many minutes trying to figure out how to import some documents. My wife had already imported one set of documents, so they were presented to me in the import history. It just didn't occur to me that I had to hit the "edit" button to get a chance to import. To me, 'edit' seems the exact opposite of 'import'. It would have been nice for the screen to tell me that's where the import function lives.
But the worst aspect is that I still haven't figured out how to print the documents. I hit the print menu and am given the options of saving to file, preview print, or cancel. In preview print, I could not see how to print. I know I can go print the pdf file any time I want to, but I certainly thought than an option called "print" would allow me to print. I wasted a bunch of time on that also.
What's great about it: Better than manually filling out forms
What's not so great: usability issues

Terrible time filing the federal return electronically due to the software not accepting entries to the healthcare 1095 c form-simply awful!!!! Had to mail in my return.
