I received a NYS Tax Freeze Credit in 2016 which I assumed doesn't apply to 2015 Tax return. I have no idea if I received a check in 2015. There should be a link to something to see whether or not I received something in 2015
What's not so great: I got hung up on the NYS Tax Freeze Credit.

As good as it gets

I have used Turbo Tax for many years and have always been satisfied. Of course, to have the best experience with this or any other tax program, the user has to be prepared with all necessary tax forms and data. No program can input missing data or correct erroneous information. As my tax situation has changed over the years, I have found Turbo Tax adequate to handle my changes in status and investment strategies.
What's great about it: Clear, step-by-step instructions; multiple checks
What's not so great: tax situations are unique and difficult to discern at times

Easy Filing

Having just been widowed, I was not looking forward to sitting down and filing my taxes. However, with Turbo Tax, it was easy and quick.
What's great about it: Filing was easy requiring a minimum of time
What's not so great: Can not think of any
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Turbotax for Fast Cash

I did not have any trouble following this tax return program in filing my return. I did not find the interview question and sections difficult to understand and a the number of prompts installed kept me on track as I was progressing through the program. I have been using TurboTax Deluxe to do my taxes for the past 5 or 6 years now and turbotax since about 1997.

Turbo Tax is very easy and straight forward. It helps you walk though every situation.

Soooooo Easy

As a user of the software for years I am always amazed by the simple and easy to follow steps used to get this done. I talk with people a lot this time of year and many are worried about how to file. I always recommend this program to anyone wanting to do their own returns.
What's great about it: The speed and ease of the program.
What's not so great: NONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a pretty user-friendly software that even a computer novice can navigate It is pretty thorough, and fairly quick to go through, if you have all of your paperwork organized! I like that they guarantee your maximum refund. Peace of mind is always a nice thing to have!
