Glad filing is completed

I had to go to my financial advisor to walk me through transferring data from the various 1099-XXX forms to the correct lines in the TurboTax equivalents. I've used Turbo Tax for many years and this year seemed more troubling and frustrating.
What's great about it: Brings in previous year's data
What's not so great: Seems more confusing to use than previous years
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I have used Turbo Tax for many years and have no desire to change. Although I think state efile should be included with the price of the software.
What's great about it: ability to use interview or work with forms with plenty of helps
What's not so great: H S A form a little tricky

TurboTax delivers again!

TurboTax helped me to simplify a complex tax situation and take care of everything on the spot. I am so grateful that software like this is available and effective, and I look forward to using it from now on to prepare tax returns.
The reason I did not give TurboTax five stars is because when it locates errors, it does not pinpoint the exact location on the form where the supposed error appears, even if it's not actually an error. This glitch would not be hard to fix, but it does add some extra and unnecessary legwork for the user.
In general, I would definitely recommend TurboTax to anyone looking for a streamlined, straightforward way to prepare tax returns with confidence.
What's great about it: Walks you through all the steps through a Q&A format; good interface
What's not so great: When making corrections, does not pinpoint locations on forms
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I had a baby

Tax Prep Torture Minimized

I have always used Turbo Tax and found it to be the most accurate and simple way to complete my taxes. One can enter "what-if" data to assess future financial decisions that may effect next year's taxes, e.g., remortgaging, adding more to 401K, or getting s significant increase in salary. Some calculations could be time consuming and challenging but are made easy by Turbo Tax, e.g., whether to use a standard or itemized deduction, or what the impact of a higher charity contribution would have on your taxes. I have always liked the ability to import the previous year's information eliminating the need for reentering basic address and bank account numbers,
What's great about it: A comprehensive, accurate, and thorough application that produced a high quality product
What's not so great: Getting focused answers to program results that appear incorrect is frustrating and time consuming
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

What's great about it: covered all my life's various life situations throughout many years
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

All info, especially addresses, etc. should be brought into the current tax year from last years returns so it doesn't have to be reentered by the preparer. Just allow the option to edit if something has changed. Your prompts for entering data from those annoying K-1's do not always match the forms sent by the companies. The definitions and prompts are at times confusing and make putting the proper data in the right box really difficult. I guess what I would like to see is everything that was finally approved and sent from last years return to be brought forward to the current year and then allowed to be updated & revised as need be rather than having to reenter so much redundant info. Making a few changes to existing numbers would be as lot easier that starting from scratch every year.
What's great about it: mostly quite easy to follow & do
What's not so great: need better transfers from prior years and closer matches to some tax forms

Everything was great until the very end when you had click continue about 15 times to finish. Right after that, it said it was missing information, which was given and still gave me that screen. Finally got passed, but tough to follow
What's great about it: Easy, fast, very helpful.
What's not so great: Ending is confusing and long.
