Great Tax Prep Software-E Z !

This was a nice graphic improvement over last year's software. Still easy to use and fast! Makes my life so much easier!
What's great about it: Easy, good graphics, love the efile
What's not so great: high cost for state e-file

I like Turbotax, but I feel that the cost to efile federal & state should be covered by the price of the deluxe edition.
What's great about it: transfered my info from last year
What's not so great: had to pay to efile state!

Tax prep made easy!

I don't like doing my taxes, but I like using TurboTax, have been using it for about 20 years. Every year it gets easier to use, and is usually at the same price. Of course you just use it once, so the price should be low. It checks your work and then double checks if needed. I file electronically, so I receive my refund in about a week+. In the past it used to import your W2 from the company web server, but now this year - maybe I missed something... but the data was still easy to input. Took me about 3 hours to go through the complete process, that is still faster than letting someone else do it. Will use it again, until someone makes a robot that will do it for me..
What's great about it: Easy guidance, asks all of the questions, checks and double checks, has a running total for refund/payments.
What's not so great: Still takes a few hours to complete if you have a lot of income and deductions. Doesn't make your dinner.

Easy to use

overall, very good product! I keep buying it. Tried competitive software once, Won't make that mistake again . . ..
What's great about it: Takes you to what you need
What's not so great: When you get to the print option, sort of frustrating. I wanted to print for mailing before printing a copy to keep.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

My Taxes - Go Bucks!

Federal and State are fast and easy, the local taxes in Ohio in this form are not as accurate as they could be and very confusing, seems I have had to do them manually at the end. They are better in 2015 than they have been in 2013 and 2014. Maybe 2016 we will hit a home run?
What's great about it: Federal and State
What's not so great: Local taxes

It was fantastic till the end

TT autofilled the AGI for my kids tax returns. Both were rejected. My daughter got married and filed a joint return. I figured that was the issue so I had her file by mail.
My son changed states of residency. Otherwise, everything was the same. And his was rejected too.. Didn't like the AGI So he is filing by mail. Seems like a bug. TT put in last years AGI, from his return completed on TT 2014
