I've used Turbo-Tax for 10 Years. Just gets easier to use every year

Simpler this year

Intuit seems to be taking time to make it easier for individuals to complete this stressful tasks. Keep getting better and you will hasve more dedicated customers.
What's great about it: It seemed to be simpler to complete this year. In the past, it would take a lot longer to enter the data.

For a simple, straight-forward tax situation TurboTax is the way to go. However if you are unsure about how to approach something it may not give you much advise.
What's great about it: Transfer of data, Calculations, Simplicity
What's not so great: Some help/guidance topics could use additional information (vague)

What's great about it: Easy to use and import tax information reduces the time spent searching for the correct numbered item and reduces errors
What's not so great: Filing fee for State is a bit high after purchasing the software.

95% of data entry in Turbotax is easy and quick. But we have K1s from a couple LP investments and it's unclear how & whether the K1 results propagate upwards to Schedule E and the 1040. We bought TT Deluxe for 2015 because of the irritating problems last year with Schedule D under TT Basic.
What's great about it: Basic data entry
What's not so great: K-1 processing

state problems

In state reviews, it got stuck in a 3 click cycle and
I couldn't get out of it.

Then when I tried to preview printout it would say
there are errors, but didn't say what or where.
I was finally able to bypass and pay.
