Turbo Tax Makes It Happen

Been doing the Turbo Tax dance for about 10 years. This year I didn't use the automatic sign up and found it to be cheaper to purchase the discount clubs.
What's great about it: Very Easy to use, Very Accurate
What's not so great: at times repetitive

It kept saying that my 1099R was an IRA. It was a pension. It ask how much I put in and when, I put in twice a month for over 25 years--I do not have all of those pay stubs. I am paying too much tax because I do not have to pay tax on money that I put into the pension.
What's great about it: It did good with my 20 page broker statements.
What's not so great: It did very bad with my 1099R pension.

I have used Turbo Tax for many years, and it's getting easier-easier every year! The return-review feature is very nice. It caught various typos, mistakes, and so on. Don't know how "good" the "Audit Risk" rating is but it makes one comfortable.
What's great about it: Very simple - easy to use
What's not so great: Doesn't support my finance institution (Sched D) - Had to manually enter
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Turbo Tax

I had prepared taxes before as employee of a Tax Preparation company - was appalled at prices.For years did my own taxes by hand as I had rental property - wanted to understand how system worked. Did taxes for a few friends, gratis.
Last few years volunteered as preparer for elderly and low income - again a gratis service. Used Turbo Tax at home although I could have used their system - much like Turbo Tax. Last few years I have used Turbo tax for myself and few family members. Offer open to friends - although I do not seek them out. Receive calls from friends re a few tax questions they have. Help them with research, ALWAYS recommend TurboTax
What's great about it: Easy Use - saves info year to year
What's not so great: Slow to load

it was confusing to me when i had to charge my card as other years the charge came out of my refund but i got it

easy to use and navigate, getting a connection to E File was frustrating and too many unsuccessful tries.

Good Product. It's also "Paying" Taxes.

Please make printing a more direct function. Also... Get rid of the "Cloud." This is an easily hacked environment.
What's great about it: Always a good walk through.
What's not so great: Don't like being routed to the "Cloud."
