Easy to do

What's great about it: Help section
What's not so great: Didn't self populate state and local tax rate

First time Tax Preparer

Thank you Turbo Tax, I was able to file my own tax this year. I will certainly use your CD/download version again.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax was very simple and help was right there when I needed it!
What's not so great: Though I was stumped on adjusting my income, the help center was there for me to ask questions.

Made filing and amended filing form last year easy. Hopefully the 6982 form is not needed for the 2015 returns since it was needed for the 2014 fed returned making it necessary for me to submit an amended return and return $300 to the IRS. Should have a prompt double checking whether 6982 is needed if had ins for a partial year. I did an amended on last years turbo and it made the process easy, only wish there was a prompt to verify the 1095- reflects the correct entry on the Fed return.

Overall, it is easy, but you need to have all your paperwork together and it helps to have quick access to last years return.
What's great about it: It led me through most things easily
What's not so great: The answers are there for most things but sometimes they are hard to find.

I do my kids returns and paying as much for state as almost what I did for 1st federal/state is uncalled for.
What's great about it: fast and easy
What's not so great: charging 4+ for 2nd state return
