Needs work this year

When you've clicked 'done' on a section it would be nice if it went to the next one instead of making you scroll down each time. Not a big thing, but I find it annoying every year and I've mentioned it every year. Should be an easy fix.
Several pages were confusing, especially NY state, there were no helpful helps explaining what was going on with the page you were on. It seems like there were in prior years. If it's still there, it's too hard to find and for someone using TT for many many years, it shouldn't be.
When asking for community help, it wasn't helpful. Questions often not answered and even if they were, why would I trust a non TT person on something so important. It's not like I'm asking what's their favorite dog shampoo. For what we pay, someone from TT should answer questions promptly.
What's great about it: transfers from last year and form to form
What's not so great: poor helps
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Might be nice to have a list up front of all the documents you need to gather before starting.
What's great about it: Holds your hand and walks you through.
What's not so great: Turbo Tax is great; like everyone else, I just hate the long process.

harder time

I am not sure if it was my MAC but I had a very hard time this year. Lost all of my returns for 10 years!!! had to type all info over. I am a former preparer and have used turbo tax many years. Not sure about 2016
What's great about it: none
What's not so great: kept jumping around to different forms.

Turbo or Normally Aspirated...

Some topics are still questionable so I never really knew if it applied to me or not. There has to be more cut and dried results and questioning. Some areas are just not clear. Overall, SW seems to work but could be better improved with less ambiguity on a select few topics.. Thanks for this program..
What's great about it: Did not crash
What's not so great: I do no like how easy it it is to loose or in this case not answering to save leaves blank return, must start all over.

Online help could be MUCH better.
I have used TurboTax for years but the UI stinks and could be much more efficient.
What's great about it: Does your taxes
What's not so great: Circular. Asks the same questions over and over. Very annoying. Repetitive. Forces user to waste a lot of time.

Great Product

I have used TurboTax for the past 10 years and it is easy to use. Just fill in the blanks by answering each question and turbo tax will take you step by step through the filling process.
Turbo tax asks all the right questions and looks for any credits and deductions so I know nothing is forgotten and I'm getting all the credits/deductions allowed.
Once the filling process has been completed TurboTax checks and double checks all the numbers and has all the proper forms filled out correctly.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
