If you don't have a really complicated tax situation, you can do your own taxes with Turbo Tax! Have all your documents on hand and plan to set aside time to do it. Turbo Tax helps you-missing info, you'll know. I love that it does the calculations as you go and you can always start over!
What's great about it: Esay to use. Step by step guidance provided. You get forms you need for your specific situation.
What's not so great: Nothing really.

I love how easy Turbo Tax is! It's clear, thorough, and easy to come back to later if I'm not finished. The only thing I would change is that if I've already visited a section and answered that it doesn't apply to me, I'd like it to say so, that way if I come back the next day, I don't end up going to a part I've already done.
What's great about it: Walks you through everything
What's not so great: Doesn't always say when I've visited a section

Have done my returns with TurboTax for the past few years. It is easy since they always have the latest information and are with you step by step. Doing taxes without TurboTax was frustrating and aggravating.
