What's great about it: Easy to use and follow
What's not so great: If I purchased the deluxe version with state return, why is there a cost to e-file my state return?

My Turbo Tax Experience

I have used Turbo Tax for federal and state income tax since 2011. I am pleased with the program and intend to use it again each year in the future. I find the federal and state taxes to be complex and obscure. Turbo Tax resolves a lot of the complexity by translating detailed requirements into simple questions or fill-in-the-blanks. There are many flags to confirm that I have provided all the information I needed to. I am comfortable and confident to use Turbo Tax and can recommend it without reservation to friends. Thank you, Turbo Tax, for making the tax preparation and filing process less painful and aggravating!
What's great about it: Step-by-step, failure-proof help. De-mystifies and simplifies the income tax process.
What's not so great: None.

ease of use

I have used this before but this year had to use the on line help for the first time and it was fast and answered my questions to the fullest. Very pleased and would recommend this product to any one. Thanks

What's not so great: n/a

the program was easier 2 years ago, now it has become a little complicated.
What's great about it: accurate
What's not so great: sometimes difficult to go back to correct something and then go back to where you were

More simple every year

Used for 10 years and have seen much improvement in navigation and clarity. I always do the walk through just to feel confident I have not missed anything. I think it would help if the Sch A could be seen even if the standard deduction applies to you. It would help keep a lock on the big picture.

Easy to Use

I have been using this product for 6 years, and love its ease of use. For the print and mail option, I would like to see an envelope template that would allow one to enter their return address, and insert an envelope into their printer and get a professional looking printed envelope.
What's great about it: If you have your paperwork, anyone can use this product
What's not so great: This product is getting expensive compared to similar products

Only a few difficulties

It was very hard to locate the advice that IRS wants the taxpayer to generate a new PIN each year.
