What's not so great: Comments on return put you in an endless loop even when you have answered the question correctly.

New and improved

Almost finished, and saved for next day. Did not return and lo the computer locked. Had to restart, and started anew, It interrupted by your update, and did not know me any more.
Had to redo the full section already done.
At the end did refuse to E-file, because of specified errors,
without offering any way to correct them. In this section is the
loop advising to help with filing by mail, but then suggest filing
by E mail again. No promised help with mailing either return.

Decades of reliable tax guidance

TurboTax has given me reliable help in completing taxes and planning for future returns (energy credits, itemized deductions). I learn something new each year and as convoluted as Congress has made tax laws, the product has guided me to produce returns that survive IRS "requests for further information". This year was a transition year into Medicare and Retirement Income and it was painless. I also use the TurboTax Business product for completing my parents' Form 1041 Trust return in minutes.
What's great about it: Foolproof
What's not so great: Not as much Quicken transfer as I would like
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

TurboTax 2015. Federal and Sate

I've used TurboTax for about seven years--Federal and State--and am always pleased. TT downloads the information easily to prevent my having to do paperwork research.
What's great about it: Highly interactive. Allows to move quickly from page to page.

Turbo Tax is very easy to follow, giving excellent instructions and, if needed, where to find information. Excellent program.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax is the best; we have used it for the last five years.
What's not so great: None
