I think this is the best software on the market for a home user. I have used others and have only used Turbo Tax for past few years.
What's great about it: Very Easy to Use
What's not so great: Sometimes asks a lot of questions but not bad

e-filing taxes

I should have already had an account because I filed with turbo tax last year. Unfortunately, my account could not be found and I had to go through the registration all over again. After filling out all that was required for filing state and federal returns; it is just too much and tiring to have to reregister and maneuver through complications of the account not being found,
What's great about it: fastest way
What's not so great: too complicated and takes too long to fill out forms

Almost perfect

I've used Turbo Tax for several years now and really enjoy their completeness and clarity. I have had some minor glitches as I finished up e-filing in that my payment was very difficult to do; I can't say for certain that it wasn't my computer's flaw, but it was discouraging to have such trouble as I neared completion. Could there be a more foolproof method of payment for refiling?
What's great about it: Mostly all extremely clear instructions - great help on the phone.
What's not so great: Couldn't easily make a payment for my e-filing of State returm
