I have used Turbo Tax and audit protection every year since early 1980s. Twice I have been audited and after sending a complete copy of my tax records it was settled with no cost or penalty. The questions guide you smoothly through the entire process of both Fed and State.
What's great about it: Easiest way to file error free returns year after year.
What's not so great: The program did not check for . vs , when I entered the taxable portion of my income one year. I do not use commas now.

Superb Job!

Every year I dread tax time! I get nervous and hate to think about working on them. BUT, time and time again, Turbo Tax comes through and makes tax preparation a breeze! The format is easy to follow with tips and there is a chat room if you really get stuck. Being a computer idiot, I have never had to chat, so it is nice to know someone is there to help. I have used Turbo Tax for several years and will continue to do so. Thanks again Turbo Tax for another good year!!

Your update received 3/29/16 erased my return!

I am very unhappy with the events the last 24 hours which caused me to spend another day - redoing my 2015 return!
When your update was downloaded - it placed my return in the Trash and from there - it would not open. Trying open by drawing it to my desktop resulted in it disappearing completely and the tech dept. of Apple could not recover. They were amazed that it happened especially when an update places it in the trash, and that it would vanish without actually deleting it from the trash!
You have a problem that must be fixed. I did not order next years software for that reason!

What's not so great: Never update once you prepare your return - EVER!

TurboTax seems to be getting easier every year. You are doing a good job, keep it up!
Would be even easier if I could import more data. I do not understand why I could not import my CU data.
